Kite

KITE is a free web platform designed to help migrants and refugees communicate and navigate their new environment from day one, even without knowing the local language. As part of Microbio's design team, I worked on the visual identity and UX/UI design, transforming a complex multilingual system into a clear, accessible and intuitive experience. I designed the visual structure and interaction patterns around a clear typographic hierarchy, modular layouts and intuitive navigation, ensuring a seamless experience across desktop and mobile. I also developed the brand identity around the concept of a kite as a symbol of guidance, movement and communication, creating a flexible visual system of blue, turquoise and orange tones. This visual language was also applied to the art direction of over 500 Midjourney-generated illustrations for the platform's visual dictionary.
